Sessions last 45 minutes long. Each individualized session we will perform at least 8 different exercises targeting two different muscle groups. Our fitness trainer will also educate you on a variety of exercises and how to perform them appropriately.

YKZINI trainers at home believe in positive energy. We will give you a set schedule so you know what day & time you will see us. It is also important that you communicate with our trainers what you like and what you don’t like so we can adjust to your needs.

We can accommodate to once a week schedules. However, in our experience to achieve the results you desire, the more times you commit to working out, the better. Remember, working out does not necessarily mean you have to go to the gym. 20 minutes of activity (e.g., walking the dog, walking lunge break, cleaning the house, playing basketball etc) will do the trick.

No equipment is needed. If you have equipment,we will customize any workout to fit what you have. If you want to buy equipment, I will identify the basic equipment you will need.

We suggest that you have towel dried hair in advance of having a blow dry. For any up-dos or braiding or we suggest washing your hair the day before.

Please wash your hair before the stylist arrives at your home.

If you have a specific hairstyle in your mind that you want, email us some pictures and we can make sure you’re matched with the perfect on demand hair stylist at your home.

If you'd like to see some previous work that your professional hair stylist has done, just let us know and we can send you some pictures.

We would advise having a hot shower or bath before your massage. This can help you to relax your muscles before treatment begins and may also help improve muscle recovery after the massage.

We want your experience to be a relaxing one, therefore we would suggest that our mobile massage therapist sets up in a room that is private and warm. Ensure that you have space for the massage bed.

Your therapist will bring everything else for your home massage treatment, including a massage table, towels, relaxing music (if desired) and a selection of essential oils.

Our massages techniques include the use of oils, so we suggest that you undress for the treatment simply to a level you are comfortable with.

On arrival, your home massage therapist will prepare the bed, music and oils and then they will step outside so you can get undressed in privacy. At the end of the treatment, your therapist will leave the room to allow you to get up at your own pace and get dressed.

For the 60 minute facials, our facialists will need access to your face, neck and shoulders. The 90 minute facials include a back massage as well. Therefore, we would suggest undressing to you simply to a level you are comfortable with.

We advise that you seek advice from a Medical Practitioner regarding whether massage therapy is appropriate for certain medical conditions.

We are able to offer couples home service massages on request. As you will require two masseuses for this treatment, Please ensure you have the space for two massage beds and enough room for both the therapists to work around them.

Therapists or beauticians have completed BWSSC government-approved transmission prevention training certificates.

Your therapist will confirm before your appointment that they do not have any symptoms of COVID-19, that they have not for seven days, and that nobody they’ve been in contact with has. This will include a daily temperature check.

Your therapist will wear full PPE (more information below) and materials to disinfect all equipment before and after each booking, including anti-viral wipes and sprays.

We are asking therapists to take private transport wherever possible, and to take as few belongings as possible to the appointment.

You can expect your therapist to wear a disposable mask as well as gloves and a visor for their arrival and for the duration of the treatment.

We do ask that customers wear masks throughout the booking, which can be provided by your therapist if you don’t have access to your own.

In order for the appointment to go ahead, you will need to confirm that you are free of COVID-19 symptoms and that you haven’t been in contact with anyone with symptoms in the last 7 days.

We do also ask that customers adhere to all government guidelines on hygiene, including washing thoroughly with soap and water before the appointment and disinfecting all regularly touched surfaces.

We apologise for any inconvenience, but for the foreseeable future we will also be asking you to provide your own towels for the appointment.

You are able to cancel with no charge at any time should symptoms occur prior to booking, and we will ensure your therapist is paid their full fee.

If you have any specific hygiene or treatment requests we do ask that you let us know beforehand so that we can pass them on to your therapist.

When your therapist arrives please point out allocated floor space where they can leave any personal belongings including shoes and bags. Please provide facilities for them to wash their hands with soap and water for 20 seconds on arrival and departure, and a disposable towel to dry their hands.

Your appointment station should be set up somewhere with good ventilation, ideally by an open window or in the open air.

It is important that your therapist doesn’t come into contact with any other members of the household throughout their visit. 

Both parties are asked to follow all government hygiene advice including coughing or sneezing into a tissue, disposing responsibly and re-washing hands.

After the appointment, please sanitise any surface areas that have been used throughout the appointment.

We advise that anyone at higher risk of becoming seriously ill with COVID-19 refrains from making an appointment. Please consult this page for more information.

We will need to cancel the appointment if you or anyone in your household is experiencing any symptoms, no matter how mild. You will not be charged a cancellation fee in this period if you need to cancel your appointment for this reason.

Please let us know as soon as possible if you develop any symptoms within seven days of your appointment. We will need to pass this information on to your therapist so that they can stop travelling to bookings. We depend on your diligence in keeping us informed.

If a therapist or beautician, or anyone in their household, develops symptoms they will be asked to self-isolate for seven days and will not be able to take bookings. We will contact all customers that this therapist has seen and advise them to self-isolate.

If you, or any of your household, develops symptoms after having seen a therapist, please let us know so that they can self-isolate for seven days and stop taking bookings.
